Scientists used conventional cross-breeding methods to develop a strain of tomatoes very rich in lycopene, with up to four times the amount found in regular tomatoes. They then made the further breakthrough of extracting the tomato lycopene from these tomatoes to create the all-natural dietary supplement, Lyc-O-Mato. Ingredients Lyc-O-Mato contains lycopene (15mg), the naturally occurring carotenoids, beta-carotene (0.5mg) and phytoene (3mg), as well as the tocopherols (Vitamin E) (3mg).
