Absolute Grey were a key part of the "80s indie scene that included R.E.M., Dream Syndicate and Let"s Active, all of whom were fans of their electric folk-rock. Their 1984 debut (think early Jefferson Airplane meets the modern psych sound of Echo & the Bunnymen) has never been on CD; this 2-CD set pairs the complete LP with a disc of unreleased live 1984 recordings and a 24-page booklet!
