Jiro, the teenaged boy who is really the unstable android Kikaider, finds himself stuck in human form at the worst possible time. Unable to switch into battle mode, he must confront the deadly robots created by the mad monk Futen. Salvation may come in the form of his prototype model, Code 01,but without the conscience chip that makes Jiro almost human, there"s no telling how this earlier version will respond. Jiro can"t count on Code 01 to save the day - he can only hope it doesn"t present an even greater danger.
