Your wife hasn"t heard a pleasant word out of your mouth three years come January, old of the moon. Get! " This speech was repeated, and, strange to say, approved of generally. But the barren midnights, the weary dawns, and wakings to a life out of which all pleasure had slipped were more like the record of some woeful girl"s first blighting than the experiences of a young, strong man.
