Terrell S. Lester is a self-taught landscape photographer who first picked up a camera when he was thirty-two years old. He was so inspired by his first visit to Maine in 1986 that he moved to a small island community on Deer Isle. He has been there ever since. Lester"s focus is capturing the rugged beauty and spirit of Maine. Lester"s first book, Maine: The Seasons, was published in 2001 by Alfred A. Knopf/Random House, Inc.
