Kenny Francis is a high-school junior with four fathers. His real father was killed in Vietnam, so his father"s three marine buddies have been helping to raise Kenny. Kenny is not afraid of anything or anyone. But he"s been screwing up as long as he can remember, and now he"s being sent to Bedford Academy to get straightened out. It doesn"t help that his real father was so perfect: a good student, a talented athlete, and a war hero. Or was he? As Kenny struggles to help himself, he begins to uncover painful truths about his father.
