In the present supersonic age, this type of aircraft is all but extinct, and the modern fighter is becoming more and more of a piloted missle, severely functional and with little character, but in those far off inter war years the reverse was the case, and those times and machines hold great interst for the enthusiast and a strong nostalgia for ex-servicemen with long memories.
