Chicago police detective Jeremy Ransom is visited by Angela Stephens, who tells him she"s going to be murdered and that, according to her fortune teller, her husband will be her killer. Ransom"s much too logical to accept this, but there"s no avoiding Angela"s corpse the next morning.
