Oran "Mookie" Jones II is son of legendary Def Jam R&B artist Oran "Juice" Jones. Mookie Jones was inspired to rap when he was in the presence of legendary rapper Kurtis Blow in a recording studio. At age 15, Mookie entered his first major rap competition. He won first place in The 2003 National "Roc tha Mic" competition sponsored by Roc-A-Fella records. The following year (2004), Mookie won first place in the Source Battle in Houston, Texas where he is H-Town"s Freestyle Champ. The PRINCE is what he calls himself . Now at 18, Mookie is the youngest freestyle to ever win a national battle.
