Entering the second decade of the 21st century, The Third Way Political Model of the former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has gained another prominent disciple, this time in Africa South of the Sahara. The disciple is President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone, a political Moderniser and Realist. He has a unique and sincere sense of purpose, innovation, and drive to improve the living conditions of his compatriots, consolidate peace and tranquility, and boost the image and profile of his country on the global stage. Skillfully, President Ernest Bai Koroma has combined the socioeconomic strategies of the former British Prime Minister (one of the key players of the enduring peace in the country) and his own political philosophy-Attitudinal and Behavioural Change-to embark on massive national socioeconomic development schemes. Concrete and striving of these schemes include massive road building projects, innovation in the health service, water resources, agricultural industries, and power and electricity, among other things. President Ernest Bai Koroma has appealed to his compatriots at home and in the diaspora to inculcate positive attitudes and patriotism in order to revitalise the economy, reduce poverty, defeat corruption, and maximise socioeconomic opportunities for the common good.
