George Helm was considered one of Hawaii"s greatest falsetto vocalists. He amazed audiences with his ability to play fast complex guitar parts as he sang. George was also an activist. He lost his life at a young age when he disappeared at sea off the Island of Kahoolawe in 1977 during his effort to repatriate the island. This album should be in every collection of Hawaiian music!
