Ten years ago "Les Nouvelles Polyphonies Corses" bewitched the world with their first hit "Giramondu". That was the beginning of this story; since that time they have collaborated with artists such as John Cale, Ryuchi Sakamoto & Patti Smith and haveattained international recognition, helped in part by their appearance at the French winter Olympic games in Albertville. They also won the coveted award granted by the French "Sacem" for their complete works in the traditionnal music category.
