Airflow is directed through 16 cooling vents -- 6 intake, 4 multi-directional, and 6 output vents, which is especially appreciated when grinding out punishing climbs. The shape of the visor, which can be adjusted a full inch on the fly, was also dictated by airflow. Moisture management is assisted by a nanowick synthetic liner with CoolMax panels. The durable polycarbonate shell surrounds single-impact EPS foam for lightweight and proven protection. The visor is made with high-impact polypropylene for additional eye protection. Troy Lee used super-durable anodized aluminum hardware throughout the A-1"s construction. The A-1"s customizable fit is taken care of by triple-position stabilizer baskets and a multi-position camlock adjustable stabilizer with +/- 20mm of movement.
