Jaguar are one of the best young funk bands on the scene. Godfather of soul, James Brown described them as fantastic when they opened a show for him. Managed by Keith Harris who also does Stevie Wonder, they have released a 12" on Freestyle Records owned by Adrian Gibbs who books Jazz Cafe. They play super tight & wild retro and modern at the same time. The band seeks influences from the likes of James Brown, Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind & Fire and Herbie Hancock to name a few.
