Born and raised in St. Louis Missouri, Kymo Dockett has over 10 years of experience within the Christian Hip-Hop Movement. During that time he founded What"s the Word Magazine and has written over 500 articles geared to urban youth. He went on to become one of the most respected and trusted Gospel Rap journalists and Christian Hip-Hop Historian as he has traveled across the nation covering Urban Gospel events such as Rap Fest, the Holy Hip-Hop Awards, Sound the Alarm, and Flavor Fest. He has also interviewed more than 100 artists, such as Cross Movement, Out of Eden, and Da" TRUTH. His current book "The Post Hip Hop Generation: 20 Principles for a Successful Generation" is his second book. His first book, "The Lost Generation: Why They Don"t Serve God", showed his readers how to effectively reach out to the Hip Hop Generation. Mr. Dockett was recognized by the All Eyes On Me Achievement Award for being one of the pioneers of Christian Hip Hop.
