Windows 98 SE will include IE5 -- what Bill Gates is calling the "fastest modern browser" -- and support home networking and persistent Internet connections, including cable, DSL, and ISDN. Windows 98 SE will also offer a simplified Internet setup, a move that will help Microsoft better compete with the current best-selling PC, the iMac. Windows 98 SE will also see the notorious bugs of Windows 98 fixed. The product will be available mid-1999.
