Through A Glass Darkly

The Author is convinced that the Church of England has lost its way and is no longer preaching the basic truths of our religion. He sees it as trying to fill a welfare role on a remunerated, rate for the job, rather than vocational basis which has resulted in it becoming an almost irrelevant lobby group without teeth and without the consensus to lead to any form of religious revival. He does not believe in having women bishops solely because he sees a clear distinction between a Shepherd and a Shepherdess and does not think that career structure and prospects have any place where vocation should be the sole criterion.
