This monograph publishes the Old Russian translation of "Puteshestvie v Sviatuiu Zemliu i Egipet" by Lithuanian Prince Nikolai-Christofor Radzivil Sirotka, the story of a real pilgrimage in 1582-1584. The author studies all the known versions of the manuscript, describes the history of this text on Russian soil, corrects the time of the original and the Old Russian translation, and explains the place of this document in the Russian culture of the 17th century.
