Spring Street: A Story of Los Angeles (Dodo Press)

James Hugh Richardson (1894-1963) was a Canadian author, editor and reporter. In 1912 he worked as a reporter for the Winnipeg Telegram newspaper. In 1913 he moved to California and became a reporter for the Los Angeles Evening Herald. He was promoted to city editor, and then worked at the Post Record and the Los Angeles Examiner. His works include: Spring Street: A Story of Los Angeles (1922) and For the Life of Me: Memoirs of a City Editor (1954).
