Stephen French Whitman (1880-1948) was an American author and novelist. His works include: The Deathless Forest (1906), The Noble Family of Beapertuys (1907), Predestined: A Novel of New York Life (1910), The Isle of Life (1913), Happy- Ship, Setting Forth the Adventures of Shorty and Patrick, USS Oklahoma (1913), One of Those Nice Little Evenings (1915), Children of Hope (1916), Amazement (1919), To a Venetian Tune (1919), The Last Room of All (1920), Sacrifice (1922) and Here"s Luck: A Social Footnote (1931). Several of his works were made into films.
