Paul Montgomery an investigative reporter starts to receive curious and threatening letters that are left on the door mat of his flat. It appears as if these people, whoever they are, think that Paul has something that belongs to them and they want it back This leads to him needing to travel to London and Malawi, and then through a series of events he meets up with some members of the Malawian Royal Family, the National Museum of Malawi, and a confrontation with rebels of the Malawian Freedom Fighters (MFF) Army, he finds the cave of the Lion and the treasure within. In the interim he finds out things about his family, that he had not known previously, and this explain a lot about his family connection to Malawi. He becomes a seeker of the truth with the aid of an old shaman Bulawayo...............
