This true story takes place in the 1950s and is set in England, the Middle East and Africa. It tells of a young man undertaking National Service and his slow realization that he is homosexual.At university, where he is training for the priesthood, he battles with moral, spiritual and intellectual problems. He finds peace eventually only to be faced with tragedy.
