This Collector"s Edition of Star Blazers contains a complete adventure in the trilogy that starlog magazine called, "One of the most entertaining space dramas ever created--animated or otherwise." Star Blazers was produced in the United States for English speaking audiences, from the legendary Japanese feature films and television series originally introduced as Space Cruiser Yamato (Uchuu Senkan Yamato). Only the animation directed by Reiji Matsumoto from Yoshinobu Nishizaki"s production was used. The original Multi themed music score composed and conducted by Hiroshi Miyagawa was remixed into the anglicized version. Each cassette was duplicated in real-time from digitally remastered, broadcast quality tapes. Nothing was cut from the U.S. television programs.
