At only 7.7 pounds, it is one of the lightest nailers in its class, and it comes with all the features pros expect in a framing gun. The SN65 uses a dual-action (bump-firing) safety with a sharp grabbing tip to prevent slippage when toenailing. It has a magazine capacity of 60 nails and features a handy last nail lockout so you won"t waste time shooting blanks. All framing guns will inevitably jam a nail from time to time, and Senco deals with jams by including an easy-clear system on all their guns. We found this nailer to be well balanced, comfortable to operate, and smooth firing. The depth-of-drive adjustment was easy to operate and effective in providing a uniform shot. In all, the SN65 compares favorably to competing guns and is a solid choice for a full-head framing nailer.
