Everyone at school thinks that LLoyd can"t hit a ball. He"s always the last one chosen at recess baseball games because he"s fat and he can"t run fast. The teasing at school is bearable because Lloyd knows that when he gets home Mama will be there to make everything all right. He and Mama are a special team - they only have each other. Mama"s the only one who knows Lloyd is a great ballplayer - until a classmate sees him in action. Now is Lloyd"s chance to fit in with the kids at school.
