New handmade oboe reeds! The Magic Reed number two reed is designed to professional standards. In order to increase projection, these reeds use stronger cane with slightly more resistance then the number one reeds. This has proven to help immensely in both orchestral settings and wind ensembles. These reeds are handmade in New York and refined over three sittings to produce a very stable reed. They feature an American Scrape and are designed to be free-blowing and still stay right on pitch.
