The cross-cultural communication is indispensable in today’s civilization; So adopting a translation method which is even inclining toward SL, TL or both of them will improve the translation product. This book, therefore, presents the two familiar strategies, explicitly domestication and foreignization in the translation of drama. With the purpose of achieving this goal, translators should be aware of cultural differences and methods and become skilled at strategies and tactics related to domestication and foreignization. Besides investigating strategies related to these two methods, which are used in translating drama, the frequency of strategies is also investigated in this book.
