The ultimate goal of this study is made clear through the gradual refinement from perspective to principle of being, and thence to philosophical system. Our purpose is not merely to demonstrate that philosophies can be deemed feminine, as opposed to masculine, but further, to present existing examples of feminine philosophy and of how an adherent of the feminine perspective, living in accordance with the feminine principle of being, might function within the limitations of the discipline of philosophy. One of the benefits of a feminine perspective is that a philosopher can offer unique, although not necessarily definitive, solutions to perennial problems.
