Gary and Roberta Gordon have been playing old time country and bluegrass music for over twenty five years. Making their home in Illinois, Gary and Roberta are playing their music mainly in community centres, clubs, and on festivals throughout the northeast of USA as a duo, as well as with a band. Gary plays very tasteful lead guitar and dobro, and Roberta plays rhythm autoharp. Their vocal blend gives them a warm distinctive sound, well-suited to their repertoire, which varies from originals to older Doc Watson and Norman Blake songs and traditional music from the Appalachian mountains.
