This gaiwan is produced at the famous porcelain-producing town of Jingdezhen and bears its distinctive marking. * The design is of two fishes swimming gracefully over reeds and grass. * Tea connoisseurs often brew the tea right in the gaiwan although it may also be used conventionally as a tea cup, the lid serving the dual function of keeping the tea warm and to block the tea leaves from consumption. * Includes samples of premium Bana Pu-erh tea. * The gaiwan is 3.5" wide x 3.25" tall and holds up to 4 ounces of tea to lid level.
