THEMBI is a virtual band, born from four French musicians exchanging files on the Internet. "Morning Melody" (Dreaming, 2009) is mainly instrumental, with voices used as instruments. These twelve pieces offer a sophisticated electro-ambient music, somewhere between smooth-jazz and electronic musics. Let"s think of Curtis MAYFIELD, Serge GAINSBOURG, Marvin GAYE or Herbie HANCOCK, with sophisticated atmospheres. It"s cool, relaxed, sensual, but dynamic at the same time.
