The story of Popeye the frog is a true story first reported in the daily newspaper of Kalispell, Montana, when a little frog was discovered in a recently purchased bag of spinach. The author has taken some liberties in the narration as to just how Popeye got into the spinach in the first place, and what transpired following his "capture" until he was rescued and placed in his new home in a classroom in a private school. The author has done additional research and included educational material of the Northwest Pacific Treefrog. The book is full color with original artwork by Bob Cavanaugh.
