Pool House Sloths is a sloth"s eye perspective on Monique Pool"s efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wild sloths in the Amazonian rainforest of Suriname. The book was written by Sharanya Sarathy, who assisted Ms. Pool in Suriname during the summer of 2013 just before beginning her senior year at Lakeside High School in Seattle. Sharanya wrote this book to publicize threats sloths face in South America and to aid in conservation efforts. Sharanya contributes proceeds from sales of this book to Green Heritage Fund Suriname.
