Great Twentieth-Century Catholics introduces group members to inspiring Catholics: Thomas Merton, Dorothy Day, Pope John XXIII, Mother Teresa, Henri Nouwen and American Catholic laity. Each great Catholic was chosen "because their work was remarkable and their influence profound," and each reminds us that we are all disciples "journeying with Jesus and each other, toward a perfect union with God."
