The Phoenix Tropical Gardens Archive CDROM contains over 2500 species of landscape plants, trees and succulents, that are adapted to the warmer parts of the United States (USDA zones 8b to 11). With over 5000 pictures, including a large number of the pictures are 1024x768 pixels in size, it is a marvellous reference. It provides growing information, watering data, cold and heat resistance, as well as propagation techniques for the plants. A large list of synonyms allows to correlate the data on old books, new books, nurseries, and the Internet.
