2 mil plastic bags are our best selling thickness. These bags provide good strength without sacrificing clarity. They are made from premium 100% virgin FDA/USDA approved heat sealable LDPE resin which makes them excellent for storage, display or keeping items clean and protected from moisture during shipping. The moderate weigh of 2 mil thickness offers protection beyond just dust and moisture protection. While not suggested for heavy or sharply pointed items, it is very good for a wide variety of mid-range packaging applications. The photo shown is an example of bag style only. Dimensions listed represent the actual size. Sizes are listed in inches. The "Width" represents the opening of the bag, while the "Length" represents the distance between the top of the bag and the bottom below the seal. Add an extra .25 to .5 inch to your length for critical dimensions to make allowance for the space required for the seal.
