Thirty years ago in the USSR, a young guide, Mila Rusinova fell in love with a Canadian film director, Nick Dasevych. This event drew the attention of KGB. Mila"s career would have been ruined but for the interference of a high ranking official, but the price of the freedom was a long relationship which turned her life into a chain of crimes and murders. The friendship with a criminal leader Capital helped Rusinova get rid of an admirer from the KGB and to move to Britain. She survived and changed careers, becoming a detective. Her detective work leads her to investigate and solve many crimes, showing great bravery and cleverness along the way.
