Dogs Rock was influenced by Stephen"s Wrigley Field neighborhood, where man"s best friend seemed to be part of everyone"s family. He hopes his work reminds you of a favorite pet or adds a funky lightheartedness to your life. Stephen likes rustic and vintage styles and is continuously refining and adding complexity to his approach. He characterizes his work as simple yet eclectic, bold and graphic. Because of the support of Chicagoans, he was able to turn selling works at the farmer"s market into a full time gig. Stephen left Chicago three years ago, returning to his hometown of Perrysburg, Ohio where he enjoys golfing and kicking back with his high school sweetheart bride and their dog Lola, the Golden-Doodle.
