The League of Gentlemen won the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1997 and subsequently were given their own series on Radio 4. The episodes on these cassettes feature characters such as Herr Lipp, the predatory German exchange teacher, the incompetent vet, and the transvestite taxi driver.
