Much of the craft"s superstructure houses datastacks that are in turn heavily laden with strike plans, stratagems and tactical variants. When faced with a situation outside of known parameters, the pilot can sift through and retrieve the correct response from this datastack. Thanks to the ruthless precision of his android brain, the pilot can simulate billions of possible strategies in the span of a few nanoseconds. The Night Scythe is the Necrons" favored tool of invasion, a variant of the Doom Scythe that replaces some of the fighter"s heaviest weaponry in favor of a troop transport capacity. This is not to say that the Night Scythe is in any way defenseless - quite the opposite. With its twin-linked tesla destructor, and the nerve-shredding shriek of its engines, the Night Scythe is still a formidable fighter craft in its own right. Necron commanders will find an armada of Doom Scythes and Night Scythes to be immensely beneficial to their battle calculations. Doom Scythes can be sent ahead of your Necron infantry, where their death rays will rip apart enemy lines or eliminate any potential threats from above. Then, after their infantry has been decimated, imagine the look of horror upon your enemy"s face when your Night Scythe drifts across the battlefield only to teleport Necron Warriors from out of its wormhole gateway and into the mêlée... This multi-part plastic boxed set contains 51 components with which to build one Necron Night Scythe or Necron Doom Scythe, and its weapons include a twin-linked tesla destructor and a death ray. It comes with a flying stem and large oval base, as well as a Necron transfer sheet. This kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - they recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
