Colourfix Suede paper has an archival quality surface suitable for use with pastels, charcoals, pencils, inks, acrylics, gouache, watercolors, silverpoint, and even oil paint. The surface of this paper is not as abrasive as regular Colourfix papers, and was partly developed in collaboration with the PanPastel company, as an ideal ground for their products. These papers can hold multiple layers of pastel, but without damaging the range of PanPastels and Sofft Tools. Colourfix Suede papers are even smooth enough to blend with your fingertips painlessly. The base paper is a 500gsm hot press watercolor paper, and provides a rigid support for painting. Unlike original Colourfix, the pastel-friendly suede surface goes right to the edge of the paper, with no white borders. Sold individually. Available in 14 in. x 18 in. sheets.
