In a small Tennessee community, a young man of twenty-three was found dead. It was said to be suicide, but his mother rejected that explanation. Through rhythmic, informal poems, June Keatts Wiggins expresses the grief of losing loved ones and the unwelcomed solitude she found when she discovered that searching for answers leads nowhere. Inspired by the death of her beloved son Tim, Hear our Cries is an outreach to others who have suffered sorrow--those left lonely by a child"s death and those subjected to abuse.
