Founded in 2001 by Sebastian Ziegler and Tobias Engleras an instrumental project, GORDON"s TSUNAMI WEEK tries to unify soulful melodies and brute walls of sound. Infl uenced by bands like MONO, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, ENVY and RUSSIAN CIRCLES they re trying to catch atmosphere and express it experimentally Different instruments (among others: violin, lap steel guitar and spherical samples) are assisting to set courses and to achieve a dreamy, gloomily character. In 2006 the band released their fi rst EP called "A Place For Nowhere", which was recorded and produced by Mario Dahmen (liquid aether). A second EP "Dropped By Branches" came out in 2007. Now the bands comes up with her fi rst full album release!
