Freelance journalist Brian Anderson stumbles into a story about someone he is involved with. He does some research, and it leads him to the family partly responsible for his family being torn apart, and he decides to take action. Going back to his days as a mercenary and a spy, he comes up with an idea. But as he ends one mission and starts another, he realizes there is more to what he thinks is going on and more people involved. He encounters deception, betrayal, and suffering as he uncovers secrets that lead him to the fight of his life.
