Kirby D. Trim is an extremely gifted and anointed young man of God. Kirby wrote 8 songs on this album and produced the entire project. On this album (his 2001 debut at age 18), he offers more than the sharing of his musical gifts: he offers his heartfelt reason for living. He is one of those "preacher"s kids" who is grounded in Jesus Christ. He is intentionally striving daily to please God and to go to Heaven. He grew up in the Faith Aflame Ministries Apostolic Church (formerly known Anastasis Pentecostal Church) located in beautiful St. Croix, US Virgin Islands under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Desmond and Evangelist Lurine Trim, his parents. He was taught to reverence the Lord Jesus Christ from a very young age. Youth Ministry, Sunday School, Bible Study & Prayer, and the Music Ministry are some of the ministries that have tremendously impacted his life. Using the musical styles of contemporary gospel, reggae, calypso, zouk, and pop ballads, Kirby delivers a heartfelt expression of praise, prayer, and encouragement with his utmost best to the Lord Jesus. He knows that his calling to the music ministry is to minister to both the unsaved and the believer. One of his strengths is to encourage the body of Christ to remain steadfast in their faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus. With his mellow-tenor voice, the thump of his bass guitar, his soulful electric guitar, graceful keyboard chords, dynamic rhythmic programming and his songwriting skills, Kirby heralds the message that today is the day of salvation. This album is a must-have for anyone! Listen to the lyrics and the music. His sound pulls you back for more! Kirby and his wife, Kanece attend Pentecostal Tabernacle of North Miami Church. They are faithful servant leaders in various ministries. Kirby works full time as a producer/recording engineer for PenTab Records, the recording label parented by Pentecostal Tabernacle. Jesus has blessed his ministry, and has provided him many opportunities to grow in his talents. He is currently the Musical Director and Assistant Youth President at Pentecostal Tabernacle of North Miami, Florida. He continues to serve faithfully by teaching the Christian Education Senior High Boys class, leading the Young Men of Purpose group ministry, and giving music lessons. He is also the music director for Apostolic Camp International which is held every July. Since his 2001 debut, Kirby has recorded, produced/co-produced, co-written, and/or sang with Henry & Pauline Brash, the Voices of PenTab Records, Mark Brown, Winston Miller, Destiny, Tanya Moulton, Sheri Williams, Tennille Tomlinson Parker, Candace Laster, Charles Laster II, Mark Bertram, Wallie Sharp & Friends, Amoye Dixon, Clement Penn, Jonathan Scott, Pastor S. Robert Stewart & the PenTab Singers, Cranston Forbes, Mark Brown & Focus, and the Gunters. He currently plays lead guitar for the MARK BROWN & FOCUS ensemble and THE GUNTERS.
