The answer is: you don"t, at least not easily. As water flows from the water source, the pressure levels can decrease thereby reducing the amount of water flowing out of the drip emitters. This is not a problem as long as all the emitters reduce their flow in unison so that the system stays balanced, that is exactly what this kit does. This kit will continue to operate down to very low pressures. At low pressure it may take multiple hours to get the desired amount of water.This drip irrigation kit is designed as a general "starting point" for your gravity drip system. The height of your water source and the size of the area to be watered will determine how well this system will operate and how much area can be irrigated in a single zone. Gravity systems usually require some trial and error to get working satisfactorily.
