Edinburgh with its vibrant traditional music scene is the place where hundreds of leading musicians, composers and performers have chosen as home in the last decade.The First "Flowers of Edinburgh" concert which took place on 12th April, 1998 as part of the Shoots & Roots Festival show-cased the wonderful talents of over thirty of those superb artists. The Flowers of Edinburgh CD recorded live at this land-mark concert features a selection of those amazing performances.
