Isolate It! Sorbothane X-Tra Flex Sheets are molded with hemispherical bumps. The hemispheres permit the material to flex more easily and allow for soft deformation under load. Overall sheet thickness is approximately 0.185". The hemispheres are approximately 0.09" high and 0.12" in diameter. X-Tra Flex sheets are easier to apply to curved and irregular surfaces and provide a softer spring rate. This makes them ideal for acoustic insulation, seat cushions, energy-absorbing panels, ergonomic pads, and sound deadening. These ultra-flexible sheets can be cut and used inside of motor housings, computer cases, speakers, lab equipment, testing fixtures and sensitive electronics to both absorb sound energy and create destructive interference to reduce sound energy levels. Isolate It! Sorbothane vibration isolator sheets are versatile anti-vibration pads that can be used as feet, stops, spacers and protectors in many different applications. The unique Sorbothane ultra-soft urethane is a durable, resilient, polymer that provides outstanding vibration isolation and non-skid properties. Sorbothane isolators help absorb impact and noise and have excellent resistance to aging; they will not harden or crack over time. Use them on any audio and electronic equipment to prevent skipping and interference.Use the natural tackiness of Sorbothane or apply 3M #80 Spray adhesives to glue the Sorbothane to metal, plastic and other surfaces.
