This is the second edition of our popular walking guide to the Denver-Boulder region. The guide describes 118 dayhikes at 73 locations within a 1 hr. drive of the Metro Area. Emphasis is placed on the natural and cultural his- tory of the region, from the High Plains to the alpine tun- dra. Trail information, maps, photos, a narrative describing natural and cultural features of the area and specific directions are provided for each location.
