To be in bondage means "the state of being under the control of a force or influence or abstract power." So many people go through life wondering, "why does it feels like I am spiritually suffocating?" The reason why is because they are holding unforgiveness in their heart and they are holding on to hurtful incidents that was done unto them in the past. Unforgiveness is the single most popular poison that the enemy uses against God"s people. When we hold unforgiveness in our heart and hold on to past hurt, it will cause us to be in bondage. In order for the chain of bondage to be broken, we have to "let go and let God" and forgive.
